Chief of Staff - NBFC/FinTech

Job Description:

The Chief of Staff (CoS) will serve as a strategic advisor and execution partner to the CEO and senior leadership team. This role is responsible for overseeing cross-functional initiatives, driving strategic projects, and ensuring operational excellence across the organization. The CoS will act as a liaison between different departments and stakeholders to improve efficiency and drive business objectives.

Responsibilities:

i) Strategic Planning & Execution:

- Assist the CEO in defining strategic priorities and ensuring their execution across departments.

- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support leadership in data-driven decision-making.

ii) Operational Excellence:

- Work closely with department.

- heads to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

- Identify and implement process improvements to support the company's growth.

iii) Project Management:

- Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.

- Oversee key transformation initiatives, including digital adoption and automation.

iv) Stakeholder Management:

- Act as a bridge between internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulators, investors, and partners.

- Represent the CEO in meetings, as required, and ensure key messages are effectively communicated.

v) Financial & Risk Oversight:

- Collaborate with finance, risk, and compliance teams to monitor financial health and regulatory adherence.

- Support in budget planning and working capital management.

vi) People & Culture:

- Assist in leadership development, organizational structuring, and workforce planning.

- Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a high-performance culture.

Candidate Details

Qualifications & Experience:

- Engineering + MBA Degree from top rung colleges

- 3+ years of experience in banking, NBFC, fintech, or financial services or strategy consulting companies.

- Proven track record in strategic planning, project management, and process optimization.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
