About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Equity Dealer to join our Investment team. The role will be responsible for executing and optimizing equity trades, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders to strengthen trading infrastructure. This is a high-impact position where precision, speed, and judgment are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Execution & Order Management:

- Execute trades using advanced OMS/EMS systems across equity exchanges.

- Optimize trading algorithms to reduce market impact and transaction costs.

Market Analysis & Quantitative Research:

- Analyze market microstructure and price behavior using statistical and technical tools.

- Develop alpha-generating trading strategies using momentum, mean reversion, etc.

Risk & Compliance Oversight:

- Ensure strict adherence to SEBI, IRDAI, and internal compliance frameworks.

- Conduct pre- and post-trade compliance checks and maintain audit trails.

Trade Lifecycle Management:

- Supervise entire trade process - from placement to settlement.

- Collaborate with brokers, custodians, and clearing agencies to resolve issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with portfolio managers, compliance officers, quant teams, and IT to enhance operational integrity.

Key Skills:

- In-depth understanding of Indian equity markets and regulatory frameworks

- Strong command of trade systems, risk management tools, and market data platforms

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to perform in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
