The CIO will be responsible for overarching information strategy, ensuring that technology investments align with Clients' business objectives, and guaranteeing IT governance across the global operations.
The CIO will lead IT teams supporting ERP (Odoo), MES (Cloud-based), HRMS, Engineering software, and other siloed applications.
This position will drive digital transformation efforts, data strategy, cybersecurity, and the integration of AI and analytics to enhance business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Strategy & Governance:
- Develop and implement a multi-year IT strategy that aligns with Clients' global expansion and business goals.
- Oversee enterprise-wide IT governance, risk management, and compliance (e., data protection, licensing, regulatory requirements in different regions).
- Systems Management & Digital Transformation Leadership.
- Lead the consolidation and modernization of existing systems (Odoo ERP, MES, HRMS, Engineering software) into a cohesive, secure, and scalable ecosystem.
- Champion the use of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint for company-wide collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with external partners (e., Rackspace for Fabric, Kepware for machine data connectivity) to ensure smooth integrations.
Data & Analytics Strategy:
- Define and implement the organization's data governance and analytics roadmap, including the expansion of Microsoft Power BI for real-time performance insights.
- Oversee the adoption of AI/ML capabilities leveraging the company's "Silver layer" (data repositories), working closely with the CTO to operationalize data-driven solutions.
Budgeting & Resource Allocation:
- Manage the IT budget, ensuring that investments in technology, infrastructure, and staffing deliver measurable ROI.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with software, hardware, and service vendors.
IT Operations Management:
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of IT systems and infrastructure across all sites (Singapore, UAE, Indonesia, India).
- Drive the development of IT policies and standards, including cybersecurity frameworks to protect company data and intellectual property.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and lead high-performing IT teams in multiple geographic locations, nurturing talent and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Partner with C-level executives and business unit leaders to understand their needs and ensure technology solutions add tangible value.
- Candidate needs to be very agile, and should of definitely spent- the last 2 years in LLM domain.
- Very good at API's and prompt engineering.
- Need to have experience in Langchain and embeddings,.
- Need to have knowledge and experience in Agentic Ai workflows and demonstrate this in interview.
- Detailed Understanding of Reinforcement Learning both unsupervised and supervised.
- Know and use different LLM models and demonstrate experience in various models and know which are more applicable than others.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Age not exceeding 40yrs.
- Proven track record of successful ERP (e., Odoo) and MES implementations.
- Experience with cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, or similar) and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Familiarity with data connectivity solutions (Kepware), industrial automation, or IoT is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation and data analytics initiatives.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
