Role Overview
As the Chief Growth Officer (CGO), you will be the driving force behind the growth strategy, responsible for user acquisition, retention, and engagement. Partnering closely with the Founder & CEO, you will craft and execute strategies that accelerate top-line growth, optimize the customer lifecycle, and build a sustainable, scalable growth engine. Candidates with experience in Q-commerce, consumer-tech, or high-velocity marketplaces will be strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Leadership
- Define and own the end-to-end growth roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Drive data-driven decision-making across acquisition, retention, and engagement levers.
- Establish scalable processes, KPIs, and growth models.
Acquisition & Performance Marketing
- Lead paid and organic channels to fuel customer acquisition.
- Experiment with growth loops, funnels, and campaigns to optimize CAC and ROI.
- Identify new growth channels and partnerships.
Retention & Engagement
- Build strategies to maximize customer LTV through product-led growth, loyalty programs, and CRM.
- Reduce churn and increase stickiness through lifecycle marketing and customer success initiatives.
- Collaborate with product, design, and tech teams to deliver seamless user journeys.
Team & Culture
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing growth and marketing team.
- Champion a culture of experimentation, agility, and continuous improvement.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Operations to align growth strategies with company vision.
- Provide insights to inform product roadmap and innovation.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of progressive experience in growth marketing, digital acquisition, and retention in a high-growth startup/tech environment.
- Experience in Q-commerce, hyperlocal services, or consumer-tech platforms is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of scaling acquisition and retention engines from early-stage to growth-stage.
- Deep expertise in performance marketing, funnel optimization, analytics, and growth frameworks.
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management, CRM tools, marketing automation, and product-led growth.
- Analytical mindset with comfort in leveraging data and metrics to drive strategy.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, bias for action, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
