Chief Financial Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.

- Provide financial forecasts, risk assessments, and cost management plans.

- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and capital allocation.

Accounting & Financial Management:

- Ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and adherence to industry regulations.

- Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies.

- Supervise accounting, tax planning, and audit functions.

Cost & Profitability Management:

- Analyse product costs, pricing strategies, and profit margins.

- Implement cost-control measures to enhance profitability.

- Drive efficiency in manufacturing and supply chain finance.

Risk & Compliance Management:

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance.

- Oversee risk management, including currency exchange, credit, and operational risks.

- Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.

Business Growth & Expansion:

- Support business expansion, including market entry strategies and partnerships.

- Oversee financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and fundraising.

- Identify investment opportunities to drive business growth.

Leadership & Team Management:

- Lead the finance and accounts team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with business objectives.

- Present financial reports and strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board.

Requirements:

- Experience: Overall 15+ years' experience and 5+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in the footwear, retail, or manufacturing industry.

- Education: CA / CPA / CFA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

Skills:

- Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning abilities.

- Expertise in cost control, inventory management, and supply chain finance.

- Proficiency in ERP, financial modelling, and accounting software.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
