Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - fintech company
Location: Pune
Experience: 11 - 20 years in Finance & Accounts (preferably in self fundraising - compulsory self fundraising experience is Mandatory)
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

Key Accountabilities
As a key member of the Executive Management Team, the CFO will be planning, forecasting, budgeting, implementing, managing, and controlling all F&A, Taxation, Treasury, ALM, Capital & Cash Management, Cost & Expense Management, Legal, Audit, Insurance, Contracts and Agreements Management, Administration related activities & directing overall financial policies of the company to ensure timely, accurate and efficient financial systems, processes, reporting & compliance. The CFO shall also have communication and support responsibilities on matters relating to shareholder relationships and Board of Directors reporting, communication and follow-up.
Strategy, Planning & Forecasting
- To share strategic leadership responsibilities with the CEO and other senior managers and ensure that the F&A function supports the business at a strategic and operational level by providing insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of organization.
- To work with the CEO, Board of Directors, and investors in development and implementation of 4 years growth strategy to scale the business 10X.
- To play a primary leadership role in the development of the long-range strategic plan including assembling senior management team input, establishment of key underlying priorities and underlying assumptions, as well as, preparation of all financial and investment related schedules.
- To work with senior management team in development of annual planning process and setting, tracking & presenting annual financial goals for the organization.
- To design and implementation of financial / management information systems solutions and best practices to support the Company growth.

Qualifications, Competencies & Experience
- Chartered Accountant with over 11 years of post-qualification experience at a senior level (CFO/Dy CFO/Treasury Head/Financial Controller), preferably in the financial services sector.
- Someone with additional qualifications i.e., MBA Finance, CFA, ICWA, Company Secretary will be preferred.
- An above reproach professional with impeccable integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, dependability, professional behavior along with a strong sense and desire to work in a self-driven team environment.
- Strong strategic acumen; high intellect, superior analytical/problem solving capabilities and the ability to develop and articulate a vision.
- Reliance on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Deep knowledge of Indian accounting standards, statutory and regulatory framework
- Specific strengths in analytics, planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Background coordinating with I.T. staff to manage and/or upgrade accounting system.
- Approachable leadership style with proven ability and experience in building, managing, developing, mentoring managers and teams.
- Outstanding written & verbal communication & presentation skills.
- Finance, IT and Risk Management skills.
- Private Equity/Investor Relations experience with a demonstrated ability to raise large quantum of debt will be preferred strongly.
- Mergers and acquisition experience preferred
