Chief Financial Officer - Investment Banking - CA

Our client is a mid Sized Investment Banking firm with multi national presence

The role reports to the CEO and is based in Mumbai

Please note this is an in office role , and a being a CA is essential

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of Financial Control, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, and development of internal control policies and procedures.

- Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and providing actionable insights to senior management.

- Manage and mentor the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional growth

- Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth, profitability, and strategic initiatives

- Anchor finance operations for international subsidiaries

- Oversee compliance and risk management, including statutory audits, regulatory filings, and adherence to company policies

- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting.-

Person Profile:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience in finance, preferably with exposure to the , consulting, investment banking, Software consulting - with multi-geo operations.

- Demonstrated expertise in financial control, FP&A, and team leadership.

- Experience in managing finance for international subsidiaries or multi-country operations is highly desirable.

- Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.

- Proven ability to work with senior leadership and contribute to strategic decision-making

- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
