Role Overview:


The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving the financial strategy, operational efficiency, and long-term business planning. The role demands deep financial acumen, strong business partnering capabilities, and proven experience in managing growth-oriented, investor-backed companies.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic & Financial Leadership:


- Lead overall financial performance management of the business.

- Partner with senior leadership to define and execute growth and profitability roadmaps.
Support strategic decision-making through actionable financial insights and risk assessment.

Financial Planning & Analysis:


- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling at business unit, product line, and brand levels.

- Monitor key business levers and financial KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Working Capital & Treasury Management:

- Optimize working capital and cash flow management.

- Plan and secure short-term and long-term financing through banks and alternate sources.

- Structure vendor financing arrangements for peak business cycles and long-term growth.

Vendor Finance & Experience:

- Ensure On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) vendor payments and timely closure of reconciliations.

- Collaborate with business teams to improve vendor terms (margins and credit period) and drive vendor satisfaction.

Cost & Cash Flow Optimization:


- Drive cost reduction initiatives in partnership with operations and procurement teams.

- Improve Free Cash Flows through margin expansion, inventory planning, and operating cost management.

Statutory Compliance & Risk Management:

- Ensure 100% compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations.

- Stay updated and ensure implementation of changes in financial regulations and tax laws.

- Liaise with auditors, legal counsel, and regulatory authorities as required.

- Stakeholder & Service Provider Engagement

- Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and external service providers.

- Oversee engagements with Technology Service Providers (TSP) and lead steering committee reviews.


Qualifications & Skills:


- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institute.

- Proven experience in financial leadership roles in high-growth organizations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to influence stakeholders and manage cross-functional teams.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
