We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy, planning, and governance of a rapidly growing organization with revenues of 1000 Cr.
The CFO will play a pivotal role in enabling growth, driving financial discipline, and building robust systems to support scale. This role requires a leader with proven expertise in corporate finance, business partnering, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Serve as a key member of the leadership team, driving financial strategy aligned with long term business goals.
- Partner with the CEO and Board on growth strategies, fundraising, investments, and business transformation initiatives.
Financial Planning & Control
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting across business units.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with Indian GAAP, Ind-AS, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive working capital management, treasury, and cash flow optimization.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee audits, risk management, and internal control systems.
- Build a culture of governance, transparency, and financial discipline across the organization.
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with business leaders to drive profitability, margin improvements, and cost efficiencies.
- Evaluate new business opportunities, M&A, JV partnerships, and capital expenditure decisions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, providing insights on financial performance and risks.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team across accounting, taxation, treasury, FP&A, and compliance.
- Implement modern systems, processes, and technology to enhance financial operations.
Desired Profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute.
- 18-25 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 5-7 years as a CFO or equivalent in a large/mid-sized organization.
- Proven track record in managing finances of organizations with turnover of 1000 Cr+ (FMCG, Manufacturing, Consumer, or related sectors preferred).
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, fundraising, banking, and investor relations.
- Hands-on leader with a balance of strategic vision and operational excellence.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
