CFO for a Chemical Manufacturing company

Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's long-term goals and objectives. Provide leadership in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Fundraising and Capital Management:
- Lead fundraising efforts, including debt financing, equity financing, and initial public offerings (IPO).
- Experience of taking a company public or making an organization IPO ready
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Optimize the company's capital structure to support growth and expansion.
Banking Relations
- Maintaining key relationship with banks; Ensure custody of all organization's critical documents; Credit control ; Interact with GST , Income Tax, Insurance companies, Financial Institutions and Government offices,
- Ensure compliance in all financial & non-financial matters - Direct/Indirect Taxes, import-export regulation, legal, companies act;
- Experience in handling Finance / Banking (FB and NFB) | Consortium and Multiple Banking. Ensure arrangement of debts/ loans from Financial Institutions/ Banks, Fund raising and managing treasury etc.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to shareholders, regulatory authorities, and the board of directors.
- Maintain compliance with all financial and accounting regulations.
Risk Management:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard the company's financial assets.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for financial growth and mitigation.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage and mentor the finance and accounting teams.
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
Audit
- Ensure implementation of strong internal audit. Implementation of SOPs & DOAs/ internal processes followed by strong internal controls & reporting system.
Qualification:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with a post qualification experience of minimum 18 years.
- Progressive financial leadership experience, including a track record of successful fundraising and IPOs.
- Strong understanding of IFRS
- Excellent knowledge of financial and accounting regulations.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
