We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned finance professional with a proven track record of driving financial performance and contributing to overall business growth.

As CFO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, overseeing financial planning and analysis, managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and fostering strong relationships with banking partners.

You will play a crucial role in providing insightful financial guidance to the CEO and executive team, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and articulate comprehensive financial strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.

- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team on financial planning, investment decisions, and risk management.

- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and economic factors to inform financial strategies and forecasts.

- Lead the development and execution of the annual budget, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking.

- Provide insightful financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

- Implement and improve financial planning and analysis tools.

- Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports (e., income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements).

- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.

- Manage the company's audit process, working closely with external auditors to ensure accurate and efficient audits.

- Maintain and develop internal controls.

- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to optimize liquidity and financial stability.

- Develop and implement cash management policies and procedures.

- Oversee banking relationships, including negotiating credit facilities and managing bank accounts.

- Identify and assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.

- Ensure adequate insurance coverage for the company's assets and liabilities.

- Oversee tax planning and compliance.

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance department.

- Provide guidance and training to finance staff.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader, with a minimum of 7-10 years of progressive finance experience.

- Strong financial acumen, including expertise in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.

- Experience managing banking relationships and negotiating credit facilities.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

- CPA or MBA preferred, but not required.

- Experience with mergers and aquisitions is a plus.

- Experience in the industries the company operates in is a plus.

- Experience with raising capital is a plus
