Chief Finance Officer - D2C Brand - CA

Strategic Finance & Planning

- Lead the development of long-term financial strategies aligned with business goals.

- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to drive profitability and sustainable growth.

- Support pricing, product expansion, and market entry strategies with sound financial modelling.

Financial Operations

- Oversee day-to-day finance functions including accounting, taxation, AR/AP, and treasury.

- Implement scalable financial systems and controls to support business growth.

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with statutory and investor requirements.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

- Deliver clear, actionable insights on business performance, unit economics, and cash flows.

- Build dashboards and KPIs to enable data-driven decision-making across departments.

Fundraising & Investor Relations

- Create pitch decks, financial models, and due diligence materials for equity and debt

fundraising.

- Liaise with VCs, private equity firms, and financial institutions.

Compliance & Risk Management

- Mitigate risks by establishing strong internal controls and processes.

- Liaise with external auditors, legal advisors, and consultants as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

- Prior experience in D2C/ Retail / e-commerce or start-up environments is highly desirable.

- Proven track record of leading finance in high-growth, digitally led businesses.

- Strong command of financial modelling, analytics, and strategic planning.

- Experience with ERP/Accounting tools such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or NetSuite.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
