Role Summary:

The CEO for the Industrial Construction Division will be responsible for spearheading the company's industrial projects business, driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and profitability. The incumbent will provide visionary leadership, ensure flawless project delivery, expand market share, and strengthen client relationships across industrial sectors such as manufacturing, warehousing, logistics parks, and large-scale plants.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

- Formulate and execute business strategies to achieve long-term growth and profitability of the industrial division.

- Identify emerging opportunities in industrial construction (e.g., EV manufacturing plants, data centers, logistics hubs) and drive business development.

- Represent the division at the board level, providing reports on business performance and strategic initiatives.

Operational Excellence

- Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality parameters.

- Implement best practices in safety, quality control, and sustainability.

- Establish robust systems and processes for procurement, vendor management, and subcontractor engagement.

Business Development

- Develop and nurture key client relationships with large corporates, PSUs, MNCs, and government bodies.

- Lead bidding, contract negotiation, and closure of high-value industrial projects.

People & Culture

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of project managers, engineers, and support staff.

- Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Financial Management

- Manage divisional P&L, budgeting, cost optimization, and working capital.

- Identify and mitigate risks impacting business and project performance.

Candidate Profile:

Education

- B.E. / B.Tech (Civil / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering) - mandatory

- M.Tech / MBA (preferred but not essential)

Experience

- 20+ years of experience in construction / EPC sector, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role heading industrial construction / industrial EPC projects.

- Proven experience managing large-scale industrial projects valued at - 500 crore or more cumulatively.

- Prior experience as a CEO / Business Head / SBU Head / Country Head in an industrial construction firm is preferred.

Technical & Domain Expertise

- Deep understanding of industrial construction processes, standards, and technologies.

- Experience in managing multiple industrial construction sites across geographies.

- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety, and sustainability standards.
