With a 4-ton/day production facility launching in May 2024 and pre-booked orders from leading FMCGs, we are poised to disrupt the global sustainable packaging market. Position Overview

As Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you will spearhead Ukhis global commercial strategy, securing B2B partnerships, negotiating offtake agreements, and expanding market reach. This role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in packaging sales, global market penetration, and sustainability-driven business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. B2B Sales Leadership

- Market Penetration: Target Fortune 500 clients in FMCG (Unilever, Nestlé), e-commerce (Amazon, Flipkart), and agriculture sectors.

- Revenue Growth: Achieve 100Cr+ annual revenue by 2026 through direct sales, distributors, and OEM partnerships.

- Sales Team Building: Recruit and mentor a high-performing team to execute data-driven sales strategies.

2. Global Partnerships & Market Expansion

- Geographic Reach: Lead entry into EU, ASEAN, and U.S. markets, securing certifications (OK Compost, EU SUPD, USDA BioPreferred).

- Strategic Alliances: Forge joint ventures with waste management firms (Veolia, Re Sustainability) for circular supply chains.

- Policy Advocacy: Collaborate with governments to align with single-use plastic bans and bioplastics incentives.

3. Offtake Agreements & Client Management

- Long-Term Contracts: Negotiate multi-year offtake agreements with clients, locking in 70%+ production capacity pre-launch.

- Pricing Strategy: Balance premium pricing for certified bioplastics with cost leadership in bulk deals.

- Customer Success: Ensure client retention through tailored solutions (e.g., custom blends, co-branded sustainability storytelling).

4. Sustainability Storytelling

- Position Ukhi as the Tesla of Bioplastics through ESG reporting, carbon credit partnerships, and impact campaigns.

- Leverage client case studies (e.g., How [Client] Reduced Plastic Waste by 50% with Ukhi).

Qualifications:

Essential:

- 1215 years in B2B sales leadership, with 5+ years in packaging, FMCG, or sustainable materials (ex-Unilever, P&G, Amcor, Tetra Pak).

- Proven success in negotiating $10M+ offtake agreements and scaling revenue in global markets.

- Deep network in FMCG procurement, retail, and circular economy ecosystems.

- MBA or equivalent in Business/Marketing (preferred).

Preferred:

- Experience in bioplastics/certifications and agro-waste supply chains.

- Fluency in sustainability frameworks (SDGs, TCFD, GRI).

Technical Skills:

- CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot).

- Contract negotiation and pricing analytics.

- Knowledge of bioplastics certifications (ASTM D6400, ISO 17088).
