Chartered Accountant - Bank & Credit Audit

We are seeking a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong expertise in Bank Audit and Credit Audit to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing audit activities, ensuring compliance with financial controls, performing detailed analysis of profit and loss statements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to uphold the integrity of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct Bank Audits and Credit Audits in compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

- Produce daily Profit & Loss (P&L) reports for the business unit or trading center and ensure accuracy.

- Ensure transparency and documentation of audit controls for quality assurance and validation purposes.

- Obtain and verify sign-offs on reported P&L from Front-Office traders.

- Participate actively in Change the Bank (CTB) initiatives and other process improvement projects.

- Coordinate with support teams to escalate and resolve daily operational or audit issues.

- Collaborate with Financial Controllers and Business Relationship Managers to manage front-to-back control processes effectively.

- Review and certify Balance Sheet substantiations as Primary or Secondary Account Owner.

- Investigate exceptions, monitor key risk indicators (KRIs), and implement remediation plans as necessary.

- Perform quality assurance functions within audit scope and assess the effectiveness of controls.

- Manage audit findings and close self-identified issues and audit points promptly.

- Standardize and improve audit and financial processes across the business.

- Prepare and review internal and external financial disclosures related to audit activities.

- Serve as a second-level escalation point for audit-related and stakeholder concerns.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with proven experience in Bank Audit and Credit Audit.

- Strong understanding of financial statements, audit standards, and regulatory compliance.

- Experience in preparing and analyzing P&L statements and balance sheet certifications.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage escalations effectively.

- Prior experience in financial services, banking, or trading environments is preferred.
