Key Responsibilities:
- Immediately leverage your existing network to onboard distributors, retailers, and waterproofing contractors as channel partners.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the target market and achieve sales volume and revenue goals.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation, closing deals, and post-sales support.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with all channel partners, ensuring their loyalty and motivation to promote our product.
- Conduct regular site visits and product demonstrations for key clients, applicators, architects, and consultants.
- Negotiate pricing, margins, and commercial terms with channel partners to ensure profitability and market competitiveness.
- Collaborate with management to develop go-to-market strategies and local marketing initiatives (e. , applicator meets, trade shows, in-store branding).
- Develop and distribute marketing collateral such as brochures, technical data sheets, and presentations.
- Gather critical market intelligence, including competitor activities, pricing strategies, and emerging market trends, to inform our strategy.
- Act as the brand ambassador, effectively communicating the product's unique value proposition and technical advantages.
- Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans for the assigned territory.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales volume, channel growth, and market share.
- Provide regular, structured feedback to the management team on market response and product performance.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of proven sales experience in the construction chemicals, building materials, or paint industry, with a strong focus on waterproofing products.
- A demonstrable, active, and verifiable network of retailers, distributors, and waterproofing - agencies/applicators in [Specify Target Region, e. , Pune, Maharashtra, Western India].
- This is a mandatory requirement.
- Proven track record of launching new products and consistently exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of channel sales dynamics, including margin structures, logistics, and channel marketing.
