Chalo - Product Manager - Live Tracking Domain

At Chalo, millions of people rely on us every day to track their buses in real time. We're looking for someone who can reimagine how India experiences live bus tracking making it more reliable, accurate, and delightful.

This role is about solving real user problems (like why a bus sometimes doesn't show up on the app), improving ETA accuracy, and ensuring our tracking works seamlessly, every single day.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and own the vision & roadmap for Chalo's live tracking experience.

- Deep-dive into user pain points, identify gaps in bus visibility, ETA accuracy, and reliability.

- Build a measurement framework for prediction engine performance (ETA accuracy, schedule adherence, uptime).

- Collaborate closely with engineering & data science to improve algorithms, accuracy, and system performance.

- Partner with design to create intuitive, simple, and trust-building user experiences.

- Work with operations teams to ensure ground-level issues are captured and solved.

- Use data to identify patterns, monitor performance metrics, and drive insights into product decisions.

- Prioritize effectively balancing quick wins with long-term improvements.

- Act as the voice of the customer across sales, ops, marketing, and leadership.

- Drive pilots, A/B tests, and experiments to validate hypotheses before scaling.

- Build business cases, track ROI, and link product outcomes to broader company goals.
