- Strategy & Planning - Develop and execute detailed buying plan based on category business plan at the subcategory and the branch level on a monthly basis.
- Develop and execute category objectives to meet the category strategies.
- Execute business & Promo plan for category in line with overall organization strategy keeping brands, vendors, branches, customer TG, space planning and budgeting in mind.
- Based on available space in each outlet, efficiently optimize the space utilization to generate maximum Return on Space and return on investment.
- Ensure category contribution is to over SPAR business is maintained.
- Inventory - Execute detailed buying plan based on category business plan at the subcategory and the branch level on a weekly basis.
- Execute category range planning (CATMAN) based on location and demography of the store.
- Ensure constant availability of the Identified range of products in line with store format strategy & market demand at store level.
- Identify and introduce new products for introduction to improve on range planning, margins within the store format, market demand and product availability.
- Conduct Inventory management and inventory ageing analysis on agreed intervals.
- Ensure timely stock replenishment in all outlets based on CATMAN, POG & Sales rate to minimize OOS.
- Liaise with Warehousing team to monitor the SOH & transit time to all stores.
- Sales & Profit - Deliver annual margins as per business plan.
- Deliver Backend Margins.
- Deliver annual sales target as per business plan for respective categories.
