Position Title: Category Head
Location: Mumbai
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO)
Job Summary:
The Category Head will play a pivotal role in leading the growth and strategic direction of our B2B brand. This position involves category management, overseeing brand identity, marketing communications to ensure the brand's success in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement category growth strategies to drive market penetration and brand awareness.
2. Lead the development and execution of marketing communication (marcom) plans to support brand initiatives.
3. Oversee the creation of compelling brand narratives and visual identities that resonate with target audiences.
4. Collaborate with product development teams to ensure alignment with market trends and customer preferences
5. Analyze competitor activities and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
6. Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and events.
7. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns to optimize performance and achieve desired outcomes.
8. Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals to achieve departmental goals.
9. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to drive creativity and excellence.
10. Work closely with R&D, sales and Chef team to deliver business results including top-line and bottom-line targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of marketing communications and brand management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Profile & Experience:
- MBA from a reputed B-School with 8 - 10 years of experience in Marketing and a minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in Category Management in FMCG or food services company.
