
Position Statement : PMO
- The Project Manager (PMO) will be responsible for overseeing and leading various hospital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- The PM will work closely with hospital staff, vendors, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of healthcare-related initiatives. This role will focus on facility improvement, equipment procurement, IT infrastructure projects, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead and manage healthcare projects, including construction, renovation, technology integration, and process improvement.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with various hospital departments to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including clinical and non-clinical staff, contractors, and external vendors.
- Ensure clear communication and collaboration between team members.
- Manage team performance, resolve conflicts, and ensure quality standards are met.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring optimal use of hospital resources.
- Approve project expenditures and track spending to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Identify and address resource constraints, including human resources, equipment, and materials.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to address potential delays or cost overruns.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols.
- Prepare and submit regular project status reports to senior management.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the project.
- Build strong relationships with internal departments, healthcare providers, external contractors, and suppliers.
- Provide updates to senior leadership and board members on project progress and issues.
Quality Control:
- Ensure that all projects meet the hospital's quality standards, regulatory requirements, and patient safety considerations.
- Implement quality assurance processes to evaluate outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
Post-Implementation Review:
- Oversee post-project evaluations to assess the effectiveness of the completed project.
- Document lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
Education Qualification
- Education: Degree in Healthcare Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Skills:
- Mandatory Excel and Ppt skills.
- Knowledge of hospital operations, healthcare regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of budget management, procurement, and vendor management.
