Job Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Cluster Manager to join our Bank Assurance team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong preference for those with expertise in Health and General Insurance. You will be responsible for driving sales and achieving targets through effective management of a cluster of bank branches. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with a deep understanding of the insurance market and bank assurance operations.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Target Achievement:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed assigned targets for Health and General Insurance products within the designated cluster of bank branches.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities1 within the bank's customer base. -
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with branch managers and bank staff within the assigned cluster.
- Act as a primary point of contact for the bank branches regarding insurance-related inquiries and support.
- Ensure smooth coordination and collaboration between the insurance company and the bank.
Team Management & Training:
- Train and motivate bank staff on insurance products, sales techniques, and compliance requirements.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to bank staff to enhance their sales performance.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of bank staff in selling insurance products.
Operational Efficiency:
- Ensure adherence to all operational and compliance guidelines.
- Streamline processes and improve efficiency in insurance sales within the bank branches.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the Health and General Insurance sector.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and competitive analysis.
- Provide feedback to the product development team on customer needs and market demands.
Compliance:
- Ensure all sales activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Proven track record in sales and target achievement, preferably in Health and General Insurance.
- Strong understanding of bank assurance operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and market trends.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with banks in a bank assurance setup.
- Local market knowledge of Kolkata and surrounding areas.
- Certifications related to insurance.
