Role Overview:

CAMS is looking for a Business Analyst to translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications and partner with product, engineering, and operations to deliver scalable financial technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather and analyze business requirements; run workshops with stakeholders and synthesize into BRDs/functional specs.

- Map as-is/to-be business processes; identify efficiency opportunities and control improvements.

- Collaborate with PMs/Devs/QA to design and implement solutions; support testing/UAT with test cases and acceptance criteria.

- Build and maintain business models, documentation, and RTMs; ensure traceability from requirements to release.

- Perform data analysis (Excel/SQL) and generate dashboards/reports for decision-making.

- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal risk/compliance standards.

- Prepare presentations/business cases; support risk identification and mitigation planning.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Any UG degree (mandatory).

- 2 to 5 years as a BA in fintech/financial services preferred.

- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills; excellent written & verbal communication.

- Proficiency in Excel and SQL; familiarity with Agile practices is a plus.

- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and manage multiple stakeholders.

Special Requirements:

- Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline; comfort with ambiguity and iterative discovery.

- Exposure to contact center/branch ops, reconciliations, or investor servicing is a plus.
