
- The Senior Manager, Talent and Culture Business Partner plays a pivotal role in shaping, championing, and delivering strategic human resources initiatives that fuel Calix's talent growth and reinforce company culture.
- This role actively partners with business leadership to drive programs in talent development, recognition and rewards, employee relations, data analytics, performance management, and organizational transformation.
- The ideal candidate will build strong cross-functional relationships at all levels of the organization, driving results that align Talent and Culture strategy with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to design and implement strategic HR initiatives that accelerate business growth and transformation.
- Serve as a coach and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, and culture.
- Lead efforts in employee engagement, talent development, succession planning, and retention.
- Drive and manage change management and organizational development programs aligned with business priorities.
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) for consistent and effective rollout of HR programs including performance management, learning & development, total rewards, and talent engagement.
- Analyse HR metrics to inform decisions on headcount, productivity, attrition, and organizational health.
- Champion company culture, values, and behaviors, ensuring alignment with Calix's mission.
- Lead employee relations to cultivate a positive, inclusive, and compliant work environment; address complex employee matters and support grievance resolution in partnership with legal/compliance teams.
- Conduct talent reviews, promote internal mobility, and strengthen the leadership pipeline.
- Oversee performance management and compensation cycles; support, participate in, or lead key talent and culture programs.
- Provide day-to-day guidance to leadership on talent development, coaching, counselling, career advancement, and performance improvement.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition team to support recruiting.
- Run reports in Workday, analyse data, and deliver actionable insights to leaders.
- Participate in the coordination of site-related events and talent initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate and facilitate training and development programs to build employee capability.
- Stay current on HR best practices, industry trends, and regulatory changes to inform innovative HR solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A seasoned professional with 15+years of progressive HR experience, including at least 10+ years in HR business partnering.
- MBA/PGDBM in HR, Business Management, or a related field required.
- Proven track record of partnering with business leadership in fast-paced environments.
- Experience in leading a team of HR business partners.
- Strong understanding of Indian labour laws and HR compliance.
