Business Development Manager - Aluminium


Responsibilities:


- Serve as the technical expert for ABF bricks, including sidewall, floor, and roof brick systems used in Aluminium industry.

- Support product trials, application engineering, and post-mortem analysis at customer sites.

- Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations.

- Coordinate with NPD and manufacturing to optimize product formulations for strength, thermal conductivity, resistance to alkali attack, and thermal shock etc.

- Monitor field performance, track customer feedback, and implement corrective actions where needed.

- Maintain updated Product Data Sheets (PDS), technical documentation, and competitor product comparisons.

- Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking for ABF-related concepts and innovations.

- Support bidding, proposal preparation, and product selection strategy for key projects and tenders.

- Deliver technical presentations and training to internal teams and customer stakeholders.

- Support pricing, proposal preparation, and commercial discussions from a technical perspective.

Requirements:

Essential:

- Tech Chemical/Metallurgy/ Ceramic with 7 to 10 years of experience.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes of Aluminium industry, refractory products and application of products.

- Field experience in product trials or technical customer support in ABF applications.

- Capable of handling multiple priorities.

- Able to generate multiple solutions to problems in order to troubleshoot them effectively.

- Able to collaborate with external and internal customers and stakeholders.

Other Skills:

- Ability to interpret basic financial data.

- Proficient in MS-Office/ GSuites .
