We are looking out for an ideal candidate for the below profile:


Job Title - Compensation & Benefits Lead


Designation : Manager / Sr. Manager HR (C&B)


Qualification : Masters degree in human resource or business management


Experience : Minimum 7 - 12 years of experience in Head Office / Corporate Office. Exposure of operating HROne HRMS is mandatory.


Age : Not more than 40 Years


CTC : As per Industry Standard


Location : Worli (Travelling may be required)


Office Timing : 9.00 am 5.30 pm (5 days working)


Job Expertise:


- We seek an experienced, detail-oriented payroll manager to join our team, who has worked in HROne HRMS model.


- As a payroll manager, you will oversee all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely payments of employees at our organisation. You will also collaborate with various departments to gather and validate payroll information, resolve payroll discrepancies and provide exceptional service to our employees.


- The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of payroll regulations, exceptional organisational skills and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

To act as an effective HR Role Model:


a. Building a productive work culture and HR credibility.


b. Providing direction, monitoring and input to business heads with appropriate HR initiative with need.


c. Building a valuable HR leadership role, and ability to counter respective business head for any unethical, ineffective, irrelevant, wrong practice etc which is not at per with policy. Not to act as only a follower.


Objectives of the role:


1. Overseeing end-to-end payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions and benefits administration, such as provident fund, insurance and healthcare plans.


2. Preparing payroll reports, including income tax returns and provident fund filling.


3. Conducting regular payroll audits and ensuring compliance with Indian labour laws, tax regulations and statutory requirements.


4. Maintaining accurate employee records, including attendance, leaves and personal information.


5. Collaborating with the human resources and finance departments to seamlessly integrate payroll and employee data.


6. Processing new hires, terminations, promotions and other employee status changes in the payroll system, to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.


Job Profile :


1. Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including collecting, calculating and inputting payroll data for all employees.


2. Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and company policies while processing payroll.


3. Administer and maintain payroll systems, ensure data integrity and implement system upgrades and enhancements.


4. Collaborate with HR, finance and other departments to gather and validate payroll information, such as new hires, terminations, promotions and salary changes.


5. Monitor and resolve payroll discrepancies, investigating and resolving issues promptly and accurately.


6. Generate payroll reports, including tax filings, benefits deductions and other required reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


7. Address employee inquiries and concerns related to payroll, providing exceptional customer service and support.


8. Maintain confidentiality and data security standards for all payroll-related information.


9. Stay updated on payroll regulations, Indian tax laws and industry trends, implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance and best practices.


Other Skills & Knowledges:


1) Knowledge of HR technology and systems. (HROne HRMS is mandatory).


2) Relevant professional certification in payroll management, such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).


3) Knowledge of multi-state payroll processing and Indian tax regulations, including TDS, GST and income tax provisions.


4) Familiarity with payroll-related aspects of Indian labour laws, such as the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Act, the Employees State Insurance (ESI) Act and the Professional Tax Act.


5) Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and time and attendance systems.


6) Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices related to payroll.


7) Ability to adapt to changing payroll regulations and implement necessary updates.


8) Good data analysing skills

10) History of success in recruitment, problem-solving, and employee development


11) Strong leadership skills and experience leading a team.


12) Experience in managing change and guiding employees through transitions.
