Vice President - Human Resources

Location: Kanpur

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President - Human Resources (VP-HR) to lead our HR function and shape the people strategy in alignment with organizational objectives.

The VP-HR will play a critical role in driving workforce planning, talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, and HR innovation to support business growth.

This is a leadership position requiring a visionary HR professional with exceptional interpersonal, strategic, and operational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership

- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's mission, vision, and long-term goals.

- Advise the executive team on organizational structure, culture, and workforce planning.

- Drive initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent across all levels.

- Talent Acquisition & Development

- Oversee recruitment strategies to ensure hiring of qualified, diverse, and high-performing employees.

- Build leadership development programs, succession planning, and learning initiatives.

- Foster a culture of continuous professional development and performance excellence.

- Employee Engagement & Culture

- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

- Design and implement engagement programs, rewards, and recognition initiatives.

- Ensure alignment of HR practices with employee well-being and organizational values.

- Compliance & Policy

- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

- Oversee policy creation, updating, and enforcement.

- Lead risk management related to human capital.

- Compensation & Benefits

- Design and review competitive compensation and benefits packages.

- Implement performance-based reward structures to drive motivation and retention.

- Change Management & HR Technology

- Drive organizational change initiatives and support transitions effectively.

- Leverage HR technologies to improve efficiency and decision-making.

- Monitor HR metrics and analytics to guide strategic decisions.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.

- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior HR leadership role.

- Proven track record in strategic HR leadership within complex or large organizations.

- Deep understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and organizational development.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong business acumen, data-driven decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to inspire, influence, and drive cultural transformation
