Buying Lead - Fashion/Lifestyle

Our client is a rapidly growing fashion and lifestyle brand based in Mumbai.

Role: Category Buying Lead

Team: Individual contributor role

Responsibilities:

- Accountable for defining the overall strategy for the designated category within the brand and managing its P&L.

- Ensure product focus aligns with the brand's quality, style, and pricing standards.

- Plan the product range and inventory while establishing and managing vendor relationships effectively.

- Ensure optimal product availability, visibility, and category mix to meet customer demands.

- Strategize product positioning to maximize visibility across online and retail channels.

- Develop a comprehensive pricing architecture to drive competitiveness and profitability.

Preferred candidate:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Management, Fashion Technology, or an MBA.

- 6 to 10 years of experience in category management, buying, or merchandising within online/offline retail.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and forecast trends effectively.
