Business Sales Strategy Analyst
Leveraging data analysis to drive sales growth and improve business performance. Responsible for analyzing sales data, identifying trends, forecasting future sales, and providing recommendations to optimize sales strategies. Also contributes to strategic planning, supports sales operations, and collaborates with various teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysing sales data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Developing and maintaining sales reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conducting market research and competitive analysis.
- Providing insights and recommendations to enhance sales performance and efficiency.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve business goals.
- Collaborating with sales leadership to define and refine sales targets.
- Supporting sales operations with data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
- Assisting with sales process optimization and automation.
- Working with sales teams to implement and manage sales strategies.
- Contributing to the development of long-term sales strategies.
- Evaluating the potential impact of new strategies and initiatives.
- Identifying and assessing potential risks and opportunities.
Qualification And Experience:
1. BE & MBA with 3-4 years in Sales Strategy or in an analytical role within a Manufacturing Organisation.
2. Excellent quantitative analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and a keen business sense.
3. Ability to think strategically but also have exceptional attention to detail to drive program management and execution.
4. Track record of building high-quality and complex spreadsheets, models and presentations
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills effective across all levels of management
6. Experience with SQL, Tableau, and/or similar analytical packages a plus
7. Working effectively with cross-functional teams is essential for implementing sales strategies.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to present findings and recommendations to various stakeholders.
