TGx Business Head (Trade Generics)
Location : Mumbai
Experience: 10-15 Years
Must have:
- Experience in sales, marketing, and trade marketing across pharma
- Experience in B2B Sales
Role Summary:
- Head of TGx business-in charge of leading client's entry into IGx
- Drive buildout of client's vision for IG (Oversee portfolio, GTM, supply chain & ops, sales & distribution setup, team build)
- Responsible for development & execution of 3-5 year roadmap to become a major TGx player in India
Key Activities & Role Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Provide overall strategic direction and leadership to the company
- Liaison with client leadership/promoters & board
Team Leadership:
- Develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration & innovation.
New business build:
- Planning and development of 3-5 year roadmap of the business unit
- Team buildout - Lead hiring of leaderships for key functions like procurement and distribution.
- Drive buildout - Oversee contracting, procurement, GTM strategies, sales & distribution, portfolio build
- Own and drive the P&L for the brand
New business build:
- Experience in building team & driving distribution led business
- Experience in strategizing & developing roadmap for new business
Sector Understanding:
- Deep understanding of Pharmaceutical industry, regulatory requirements,
Business leadership:
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams (Ops & supply chain, sales, distribution etc.) to achieve business objectives
- Set up and expand a multi-tier distribution network (stockists, wholesalers, and retailers).
Stakeholder management:
- Strong communication & people skills
- Ensure salesforce effectiveness by setting clear KPIs, tracking performance, and driving execution discipline
- Strong relationship-building skills to work and negotiate with contract manufacturers
