About the Role:

The Business Head - Retail will be responsible for leading, expanding, and optimising our retail operations across India. This role demands a dynamic leader who can drive business growth, profitability, and operational excellence while ensuring an outstanding customer experience in our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Strategy & Expansion:

- Develop and execute the retail growth strategy in alignment with The Souled Store's vision.

- Identify new store locations, lead expansion plans, and drive market penetration.

- Oversee store openings, design layouts, and brand consistency across locations.

P&L Ownership & Business Performance:

- Drive sales, revenue, and profitability across all stores.

- Optimize operational costs, manage budgets, and ensure high ROI on retail investments.

- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competition to drive business decisions.

Team Leadership & Store Operations:

- Lead a high-performing retail team, including Ops Managers & City Managers

- Implement best-in-class retail SOPs, inventory management, and operational processes.

- Foster a strong performance-driven and customer-centric culture.

Customer Experience & Brand Building:

- Ensure exceptional in-store experiences that align with The Souled Store's brand Value.

- Monitor Mystery Audits and implement strategies to improve customer experience.

- Visual merchandising and store engagement initiatives.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

- Work closely with inter department teams to align retail goals with brand strategy.

- Manage relationships with landlords, vendors, and external partners.

- Leverage technology & data analytics for decision-making and business efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

- 13+ years of experience in retail business leadership, preferably in fashion/lifestyle brands.

- Strong expertise in P&L management, expansion strategy, and retail operations.

- Proven experience in scaling retail businesses and driving store profitability.

- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor teams across multiple locations.

- Data-driven mindset with a strong understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.

- Passion for fashion, brand storytelling, and delivering great customer experiences.
