Business Head - Quick Commerce

The Quick Commerce Business Head will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations, strategy, and growth of the company's quick commerce business. This role requires a dynamic leader with deep expertise in e-commerce, last-mile delivery, supply chain management, and technology-driven retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Growth

- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth, profitability, and market share in the quick commerce space.

- Identify new opportunities for expansion, partnerships, and revenue generation.

- Stay ahead of industry trends and implement innovative business models to ensure competitiveness.

- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business success and optimize performance.

Operations & Supply Chain Management

- Oversee the establishment and optimization of fulfillment centers, dark stores, and micro-warehouses.

- Improve order fulfillment efficiency, reduce delivery times, and enhance customer experience.

- Implement data-driven approaches for inventory forecasting, procurement, and demand planning.

- Ensure seamless last-mile delivery operations by collaborating with logistics partners and internal teams

Technology & Product Development

- Work closely with technology teams to enhance the digital platform, ensuring a seamless user experience.

- Leverage AI, automation, and data analytics to optimize operations and customer engagement.

- Drive innovation in quick commerce models, including dynamic pricing, personalized recommendations, and order tracking.

Marketing & Customer Acquisition

- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty.

- Optimize digital marketing, performance marketing, and customer engagement campaigns.

- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to enhance UI/UX and optimize customer conversion rates.

- P&L Management & Financial Planning

- Own the P&L for the quick commerce vertical, ensuring cost efficiency and revenue maximization.

- Develop pricing models, promotional strategies, and discounting mechanisms to optimize profitability.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service excellence.

Stakeholder & Team Management

- Build and lead a high-performing team across operations, marketing, and technology.

- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and investors.

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, E-commerce, or related field.

- 10+ years of experience in e-commerce, quick commerce, retail, or logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

- Proven expertise in scaling rapid commerce operations, supply chain optimization, and digital transformation.

- Strong understanding of last-mile logistics, technology integration, and omnichannel retailing.

- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
