Business Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and implement business strategies to expand freight forwarding and logistics operations (Air, Sea, and Land).
- Identify new business opportunities, strategic alliances, and partnerships to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to maintain a competitive edge.
Sales & Client Management:
- Drive business development initiatives to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts.
- Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and global partners.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements with clients and vendors.
Operations & Service Delivery:
- Ensure smooth execution of freight forwarding and logistics operations in compliance with international trade regulations.
- Streamline processes to improve service quality, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement digital and technology-driven solutions to strengthen supply chain visibility and efficiency.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams across sales, operations, and customer service.
- Foster a high-performance culture, setting clear objectives and KPIs for team members.
- Encourage innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity within the organization.
Financial & Compliance:
- Drive P&L accountability and ensure achievement of business targets.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for the business unit.
- Ensure compliance with customs, trade regulations, and company policies.
Key Requirements:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and managing P&L in logistics/freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
