We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Head to lead and drive execution across our core business verticals.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing online and offline sales, supply chain and operations, and purchase and vendor management.
You will work closely with department heads to optimize performance, scale revenue, and improve unit economics across all channels.
Your strategic vision, operational expertise, and strong leadership will be critical in driving the company's growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration across departments.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive operational excellence and ensure efficient execution of business strategies.
- Oversee online sales channels, including Marketplaces (Amazon, etc.), Quick Commerce (Zepto, Blinkit, Instamart), and D2C (Shopify, brand website).
- Work closely with the Online Sales Head to optimize performance, scale revenue, and improve unit economics.
- Develop and implement strategies for demand generation, customer acquisition, and online sales growth.
- Collaborate with the Offline Sales Head to drive in-store performance, optimize retail operations, and expand the brand's offline presence.
- Strengthen corporate sales by building long-term B2B relationships, acquiring key accounts, and unlocking new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies for retail and corporate sales growth.
- Manage end-to-end logistics, inventory planning, and last-mile fulfillment in collaboration with the Head of Supply Chain.
- Ensure efficient processes, cost optimization, and service excellence across the supply chain.
- Implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Work with the Purchase Head to source products, negotiate costs, improve vendor partnerships, and maintain a robust supply pipeline.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Negotiate favorable terms with vendors and platforms to improve margins and business terms.
- Responsible for overall P&L management, ensuring profitability and financial sustainability.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures and revenue-generating opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced e-commerce or retail environment.
- Strong understanding of online and offline sales channels, supply chain management, and vendor management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in P&L management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and people management skills
