Business Head Cold Chain & Perishable Food Logistics.
Were looking for a visionary leader to build and scale a next-generation cold chain logistics company that serves Indias growing food supply ecosystem from farm to fork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up the organization from scratch  hiring key leadership and operational roles, establishing scalable processes, and fostering a performance-driven culture.
- Develop partnerships with food producers, processors, retailers, and restaurants to grow the business.
- Leverage strong industry knowledge and network to connect with key decision-makers in the food processing industry, opening strategic doors and unlocking high-value contracts.
- Oversee cold chain infrastructure development  including warehouses, temperature-controlled transportation, and tech-enabled monitoring systems to ensure freshness and safety.
- Track and optimize KPIs  focusing on growth, service quality, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and work closely with industry bodies and regulatory partners.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the founders, sharing market intelligence and business insights to support long-term decision-making.
- Serve as the face of the company with customers, partners, and potential investors.
What Were Looking For:
- Senior leadership experience (Business Head/CBO/CEO/COO/CXO) in cold chain logistics, food tech, or perishable food supply chains.
- Strong industry knowledge and relationships in the food processing ecosystem, with access to key decision-makers and customer stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build and scale organizations  from zero to one and beyond.
- Deep understanding of cold chain operations, including temperature compliance, storage protocols, and food-grade logistics.
- Hands-on mindset  able to think strategically but also willing to dive into execution.
- Thrives in a startup or high-growth environment, with the ability to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Sound understanding of financial management, P&L responsibility, and cost optimization.
- A degree in business, supply chain, or operations is preferred, but practical experience is valued more.
