
Business Development Manager - Salesforce (Mumbai & Pune)
About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth for our Salesforce practice in the Mumbai and Pune regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to acquire new logos and expand our market share for Salesforce services (including consulting, implementation, and managed services) in the Mumbai and Pune territories.
- Targeting & Prospecting: Proactively identify, qualify, and target new business opportunities within the Automotive and/or FMCG sectors, which includes leveraging your existing network, cold outreach, and responding to inbound leads.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and C-level executives at prospective client organizations and act as a trusted advisor, understanding their business challenges and positioning our Salesforce solutions as the answer.
- Solution Selling: Lead consultative sales conversations, conducting needs analysis and solutioning sessions to develop tailored proposals that address the specific pain points of clients.
- Proposal & Contract Management: Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and SOWs (Statements of Work). Lead contract negotiations to a successful close.
- Market & Industry Insight: Stay updated on Salesforce product developments, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, particularly within the Automotive and FMCG sectors, to effectively position our services.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Accurately forecast sales pipeline and revenue, and provide regular reports on sales activities and progress against targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the delivery, marketing, and pre-sales teams to ensure a seamless client experience from initial contact through project delivery.
