Location: Mumbai, Pune, Maharashtra (Base Location: Andheri, Mumbai).

Job Summary

As a Senior Business Development Manager - IT Infrastructure, you will drive business growth and client acquisition in the Mumbai, including Maharashtra market.

Leveraging your expertise in IT infrastructure sales, you will identify opportunities, build meaningful client relationships, and position company as a preferred partner for technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, a strong network in Mumbai including Maharashtra, and a proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Market Development: Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the Mumbai region aligned with IT Infrastructure offerings.

- Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, decision-makers, and influencers to understand their technology needs and challenges.

- Solution Selling: Conduct consultative selling by presenting tailored solutions in areas such as Networking, CCTV, Server & Storage, and Network Security (firewalls & endpoints).

- Strategic Networking: Leverage existing connections with OEMs, distributors, and system integrators (e.g., Hikvision, Derwiser, Cisco, HP) to create mutually beneficial partnerships.

- Business Intelligence: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, align offerings, and position VTS effectively.

- Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling pitches and proposals that showcase VTS's capabilities and unique value propositions.

- Negotiation & Closure: Lead negotiations to secure high-value contracts while ensuring revenue growth and profitability.

- Customer Success: Work closely with delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution and maintain long-term client satisfaction.

- Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management.

- Representation: Represent company at industry forums, events, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

Qualifications and Experience

- Education: Any graduate with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure sales and business development.

- Domain Expertise:

- Networking: Strong understanding of active and passive networking components.

- CCTV: Basic knowledge of deployment and operational workflows.

- Server & Storage: Familiarity with server and storage device setups and functions.

- Network Security: Understanding of firewalls and endpoint solutions available in the market.

- Industry Connections: Established network with corporate IT clients, system integrators, OEMs, distributors (e.g., Hikvision, Derwiser, Cisco, HP).

- Market Familiarity: In-depth knowledge of Mumbais geography and IT ecosystem.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong presentation and negotiation capabilities.

- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to achieve and surpass sales targets, driving revenue growth and market expansion.

- Team Player: Self-motivated, result-driven, and collaborative mindset.

- Travel: Willingness to travel as required within Mumbai and Pune.
