- Develop and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with a portfolio of major international clients.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of customer decision-making structures and facilitate the strengthening of relationships between internal leadership and customers.
- Prepare and execute a strategic beat plan with customers to foster deep customer intimacy.
- Manage the entire Request for Proposal (RFP) process from customers, ensuring full compliance with internal processes and timely submissions.
- Expand relationships with existing customers by proactively identifying their evolving requirements and continuously proposing tailored solutions that meet their objectives.
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Serve as the primary link of communication between customers and internal leadership and stakeholders, ensuring seamless information flow.
- Proactively resolve any issues or problems faced by customers and effectively manage complaints to maintain high levels of trust and satisfaction.
- Prepare regular, insightful reports on progress and forecasts for both internal and external stakeholders, utilizing key account metrics.
- Systematically track various inquiries from customers, actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Maintain a comprehensive repository of all Business Development-related data, including Purchase Orders (POs), Minutes of Meetings (MOMs), historical sales data, financial calculations, presentations, reports, and other relevant documentation.
Market Research:
- Continuously track and collect relevant market intelligence to support informed business decisions.
- Identify upcoming opportunities for business expansion and strategic partnerships.
- Collect comprehensive data to support client discussions and gather pertinent industry information.
- Generate new leads and meticulously screen potential business opportunities.
- Conduct thorough research on organizations and individuals to uncover new growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) combined with an MBA in Marketing or an equivalent qualification.
- A Master's degree is highly preferred.
- Academic Record: A strong academic record is required.
Required Profile & Key Attributes:
- International Business Development Experience: 6-7 years of experience specifically in International Business Development.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience within the Aerospace & Defence industry is essential.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Sales Track Record: A demonstrable and proven sales track record.
- Customer Support: Experience in International customer support is a significant plus.
- Market Knowledge: In-depth market knowledge relevant to the Aerospace & Defence sector.
- Time Management & Planning: Exceptional time management and planning skills.
- Project Management: Ability to manage complex projects and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
