Business Analyst - Payments

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Payments team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of payment systems, regulations, and industry standards. The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and implement payment processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze business requirements and design solutions for payment processing systems.

2. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business needs.

3. Develop business cases and proposals for payment system enhancements.

4. Work with technical teams to design, test, and implement payment solutions.

5. Ensure compliance with payment regulations and industry standards (e.g., SEPA, ISO20022, SWIFT).

6. Conduct gap analyses and assess the impact of new regulations on payment systems.

7. Develop and maintain documentation of payment processes and procedures.

8. Provide training and support to stakeholders on payment systems and processes.

Skillset Requirements:

Technical Skills:

1. In-depth knowledge of payment systems and regulations (e.g., Cross-Border, SEPA, ISO20022).

2. Familiarity with SWIFT messaging (MT, MX).

3. Understanding of Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) systems.

4. Knowledge of payment processing protocols (e.g., BA, Global).
