We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge in finance and accounting to join our team.
The ideal candidate will work closely with finance stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and deliver data-driven solutions to improve financial systems and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operations teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Develop functional specifications, process maps, and business cases for new and existing financial initiatives.
- Evaluate financial workflows and recommend system/process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support implementation of finance-related tools, systems (e.g, ERP, FP&A tools), and data reporting platforms.
- Perform gap analysis and assist in the configuration and testing of financial systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams including IT, Data Analytics, and external vendors to deliver business solutions.
- Create and deliver presentations and reports for stakeholders and executive management.
- Conduct UAT and training sessions for finance system users.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across financial platforms and reports.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the finance domain.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of BI tools is a plus.
- Experience in documenting BRDs, FRDs, and creating process diagrams using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is an added advantage
