Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in fleet management systems and processes. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are well-defined, solutions are effectively designed, and outcomes align with business objectives. This role focuses on requirement gathering, process improvements, and delivering insights to support strategic fleet management decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to fleet management systems, vehicle tracking, asset utilization, and compliance reporting.

- Translate fleet management needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.

- Collaborate with Product, Development, and QA teams to drive seamless solution delivery.

- Conduct gap analysis to identify opportunities for improving fleet efficiency, cost optimization, and compliance.

- Develop use cases, workflows, wireframes, and data models to support system requirements.

- Perform data analysis to uncover insights related to fleet utilization, maintenance scheduling, and lifecycle management.

- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure solutions meet fleet management objectives.

- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, and user guides tailored for fleet processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, IT, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred).

- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with exposure to fleet management or logistics technology platforms.

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, and SQL (basic querying).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across technical and business teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience in domains such as logistics, transportation, or asset management.

- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems, telematics, and fleet optimization tools.

- Knowledge of data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau).

- Exposure to API documentation and integration processes.
