Business Analyst (Salesforce Focus)

About the Job

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join a leading bank in Gurgaon. In this critical role, you'll bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, primarily focusing on our Salesforce ecosystem. You'll be instrumental in defining requirements, managing projects, and ensuring successful implementation of Salesforce-driven initiatives that empower our sales, service, and customer experience operations.

Position Responsibilities

- Collaborate and Elicit: Partner closely with business stakeholders across various departments to identify, capture, and comprehensively document business requirements.

- Translate and Document: Ensure a clear and accurate mapping of business requirements to functional specifications. Prepare detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) with robust traceability to Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).

- Salesforce Project Management: Lead and manage various Salesforce projects from inception to completion, encompassing information gathering, meticulous planning, and effective execution.

- Maintain Functional Acumen: Develop and maintain a deep functional understanding of the bank's business requirements and the proposed project solutions.

- Scope Management: Proactively plan and monitor project scope, ensuring all needs are aligned with the Statement of Work (SOW) and communicating any variances for inclusion in the change control process.

- Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive requirements management strategy for each project, outlining processes for elicitation, documentation standards, and appropriate formats.

- Analytical Problem Solver: Be an analytical problem solver with a strong understanding and practical application of declarative automation features and the broader Salesforce ecosystem.

- Requirements Elicitation: Proven ability to effectively elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements.

- Documentation Prowess: Exhibit excellent documentation skills, producing clear, concise, and comprehensive project artifacts.

- Salesforce Platform Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Salesforce platform and prior experience working in a similar role on Salesforce-specific projects is highly desired.

- Resilience and Adaptability: Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure.

- Continuous Learning: A strong interest in continuous learning and staying updated with new technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

- Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a related postgraduate degree from a reputed institution.

- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, with a significant portion dedicated to Salesforce projects within the financial services sector preferred.
