Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong expertise in regulatory compliance (MiFID, EMIR, CFTC, HKMA) and data-driven problem-solving.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business and technology teams, driving successful project outcomes while ensuring adherence to global regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance:

- Provide expertise in global financial regulations, including MiFID, EMIR, CFTC, and HKMA.

- Ensure regulatory compliance in business processes and recommend improvements to meet evolving standards.

Data Analysis and Problem Solving:

- Analyze and resolve data-related challenges to improve operational efficiency.

- Provide insights and innovative solutions using data to support business objectives.

Workshop Coordination:

- Organize and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather insights, define project requirements, and align on goals.

Requirements Gathering:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business and technical requirements for successful implementation.

Collaboration and Development:

- Work closely with development teams to translate business needs into actionable deliverables.

- Foster teamwork and collaboration across departments to ensure timely project delivery.

Innovation and Strategy:

- Identify opportunities to innovate processes and solutions through effective use of data and technology.

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, including MiFID, EMIR, CFTC, and HKMA.

- Proven experience in data analysis, problem-solving, and driving innovation.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience in workshop facilitation and requirements gathering.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with financial systems and tools.
