The Sr Manager I, PMO Finance of the Future will serve as a strategic enabler for innovation initiatives across the finance functions in Hyderabad.

The position will be instrumental in standardization of processes, driving efficient ways of working and facilitating use of technology to improve efficiencies and business outcomes.

The successful candidate for this role will be someone who can bring best practices to the role and who is skilled at analysis, innovation and continuous improvement of processes.


Key accountabilities will include:


- Project Management.


- Tracking and reporting of initiatives and projects.


- Cross functional communication.

- Stakeholder Management.


- A minimum of 4 years of experience is required, with at least 2+ years of experience in a transformational environment or capacity.

- The position will be based in the BMS's Hyderabad Location (expected 50% in-person) with minimal travel expected.


Key Responsibilities And Major Duties:


Project Management Office:


- Lead and orchestrate multiple innovation projects across Finance functions, including FP&A and Controllership, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Contribute to improvements in key finance processes such as:


- Financial close and consolidation.

- Planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Management and statutory reporting.

- Account reconciliations and journal entry processing.

- Financial controls and compliance.

- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between Finance teams, IT, and other stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules.

- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

- Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements, status reports, and executive summaries.

- Support the evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies in finance processes.


Relationship management and teaming:


- Build and maintain relationships at all levels throughout the organization, specifically with Hyderabad Hub and global Finance leadership.

- Build an external network to ensure regular exposure to new and best practices, technologies, and process governance standards.

- Hold self and others to timelines, quality, and accuracy.


Risk management:


- Anticipate needs, assess and manage business risk taking; escalate issues that may impact management reporting process globally; manage through times of crisis and ambiguity.


Qualification:


- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.


- 4+ years of experience, with at least 2+ years in transformation environment.

On-site Protocol:


BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work.

This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs.

The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role.

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility.

Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.

For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture.
