Day to day activities:

- Responsible for brand management of Heavy Duty Diesel Engine oil and Auxiliary Products.

- Develop segment-specific marketing strategies for commercial vehicles and tractors.

- Manage corresponding marketing budgets.

- Oversee portfolio and product lifecycle as per business requirements.

- Ensure segmentation, targeting, and positioning of new and existing product portfolios, making necessary adjustments based on market needs.

- Conduct promotions and brand activations for the segment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conceptualize and execute marketing strategies s.

- Conduct and review all marketing-related activities within the segment.

- Analyze target segments, existing product ranges, automotive trends, and recommend portfolio changes.

- Collaborate with the sales team on consumer and trade BTL activations.

- Formulate advertising campaigns to ensure brand communication aligns with product positioning.

- Coordinate with the Global APAC marketing team for inputs on brand strategies.

- Monitor market intelligence and take corrective actions as needed.

- Ensure product availability and manage promotional packs through monthly indents.

Context and Environment:

- The aftermarket is dynamic with periodic changes in consumer behavior, economy, industrial products, and agriculture.

- New automotive trends influence buying and usage patterns.

- The competition includes market leaders and low-priced players, including dominating PSUs.

- Primary network stability varies, with a highly demanding secondary network.

Accountabilities:

- Drive overall performance and market share growth for the Heavy Duty Diesel Engine oil & Auxiliary Products segment.

- Ensure effective utilization of A&P marketing spend.

- Closely monitor sales performance and business environment to identify opportunities and threats.

- Ensure successful execution of marketing projects in collaboration with the sales team.

- Define product/price positioning and develop brand strategies.

Qualifications and Experience Required: BE/MBA with 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
