
- We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Branch Manager to lead the Direct Sales Channel in our Life Insurance division.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving branch business, managing a high-performing sales team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills, proven sales experience in the life insurance sector, and the ability to deliver consistent business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth for the branch through the Direct Sales Channel.
- Achieve and exceed branch sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability benchmarks.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capture untapped customer segments.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals to ensure productivity and target achievement.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance monitoring to build a high-performing team.
- Foster a results-driven culture and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure strict adherence to IRDAI guidelines and company policies.
- Monitor branch operations to minimize risks and maintain compliance standards.
- Conduct regular audits and implement corrective measures when required.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive loyalty and retention.
- Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues and high service quality standards.
- Promote customer-centric initiatives to enhance overall branch performance.
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8-10 years of overall experience in the Life Insurance industry.
- Minimum 5 years of team handling experience in sales leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of life insurance products, direct sales processes, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Understanding of IRDAI regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to drive sales and meet/exceed business targets.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing sales teams.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Experience in branch set-up, expansion, or turnaround management.
- Exposure to digital sales and customer engagement platforms.
- Certifications in life insurance or financial planning.
