About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, sales, customer service, and team performance at our branch.
The Branch Manager will play a key leadership role in ensuring the branch meets its financial targets, delivers exceptional customer experiences, and complies with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales:
- Drive branch-level sales targets across all banking/financial products (loans, deposits, investments, etc.
- Identify new business opportunities in the local market and build strong relationships with clients and local businesses.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to plan local campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve client queries and complaints promptly.
- Maintain relationships with key clients and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Implement customer retention strategies and enhance service quality.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring compliance with internal SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and audit requirements.
- Manage cash flow, branch security, documentation, and administrative functions.
- Monitor branch performance metrics and generate regular reports for senior management.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor branch staff, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear performance goals and regularly review individual and team achievements.
- Organize periodic training and skill development programs.
Risk & Compliance Management:
- Ensure strict adherence to KYC, AML, and other regulatory and risk management norms.
- Conduct regular internal audits and implement corrective measures where required.
- Handle escalations and disciplinary matters professionally and in line with HR and compliance policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field . MBA preferred.
- 4-5 years of experience in retail or branch banking, NBFC, or financial services with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of banking products, operations, credit, compliance, and local market dynamics.
- Proven track record in achieving sales and business targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for building long-term relationships
