
Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Circle Operations Head to lead end-to-end operations, drive business growth, and ensure operational excellence across our telecom circle. This leadership role demands strategic foresight, strong execution capabilities, and the ability to inspire cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious targets while delivering superior customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Define and execute the circle's business strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
- Drive initiatives to achieve market leadership, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and service innovations.
2. Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily operations across network, customer service, and sales functions.
- Ensure seamless service delivery, high network uptime, and robust operational processes.
- Implement performance metrics and continuous improvement frameworks.
3. Revenue & Performance Management
- Own P&L responsibility for the circle; deliver on revenue, sales, and market share targets.
- Develop sales strategies to maximize ARPU and subscriber growth.
- Monitor and drive achievement of KPIs across departments.
4. Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate large multi-functional teams.
- Build high-performance culture through structured training, performance management, and succession planning.
5. Budget & Resource Optimization
- Develop and manage annual budgets for the circle.
- Optimize resource allocation to achieve maximum ROI while controlling costs.
6. Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement
- Build strong relationships with corporate leadership, business partners, and government/regulatory bodies.
- Ensure full compliance with telecom regulations and internal governance standards.
7. Market Intelligence & Innovation
- Track industry trends, competitive moves, and customer insights.
- Drive adoption of new technologies and service models to maintain competitive advantage.
8. Risk & Compliance
- Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Uphold compliance with all statutory, legal, and security requirements.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Business; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years' telecom experience with at least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role.
- Strong P&L management experience and proven track record of delivering business results.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical capabilities.
- Deep understanding of telecom network infrastructure, operations, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
