Job Title: Assistant Manager - Finance.

Location: Chennai.

Experience: 6-8 Years.

Job Summary.

BigTapp is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Finance to join our finance team in Chennai.

The role is ideal for professionals with 6-8 years of experience in finance and accounting, who are proficient in managing day-to-day financial operations and reporting.

The AM - Finance will be responsible for maintaining books of accounts, preparing MIS, Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, cash management, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Mandatory Skills.

- Advanced finance knowledge, preferably with CA, CA-Inter, Graduate, or equivalent.

- 6-8 years of experience in finance/accounting roles.

- Hands-on experience in maintaining books of accounts.

- Problem-solving skills with strong analytical ability.

- Proficiency in finance software and ERPs (Zoho, Oracle, Netsuite, etc.) and MS Office.

- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, integrity, and honesty.

Key Responsibilities.

- Execute day-to-day financial operations, including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.

- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.

- Maintain accurate books of accounts for the organization.

- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and monitor variances.

- Prepare Balance Sheet schedules and ensure completeness and accuracy.

- Manage cash requirements, banking transactions, and liquidity.

- Support the Business Finance Team in the preparation of MIS reports.

- Liaise with auditors, company secretaries, and tax consultants to ensure compliance and facilitate annual audits.

- Handle any other finance matters as directed by Management or Head Office Finance.

Qualifications.

- Preferred advanced degree in Finance (CA, CA-Inter, MBA Finance, or equivalent).

- Graduate in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.

Technical Skills.

- Proficient in finance software and ERPs (Zoho, Oracle, Netsuite).

- Strong command of MS Excel and MS Office suite.

- Knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and financial reporting standards.

Soft Skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- High attention to detail, integrity, and ethical standards.

- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.

- Organizational skills to manage financial records effectively.

Good to Have.

- Exposure to international accounting standards and multi-country operations.

- Prior experience with internal audits and statutory audits.

- Experience in MIS automation and financial dashboards.

Work Experience.

- 6-8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.

- Proven experience in account management, MIS reporting, and statutory compliance.
