The Investment Relations Officer (IRO) will be responsible for managing relationships with investors, analysts, and stakeholders to enhance the company's financial reputation and market position. The role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, regulatory compliance, and corporate finance, with a strong focus on communication and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Investor Relations & Communication:
- Develop and implement investor relations strategies to maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors.
- Prepare and manage investor communication materials, including earnings reports, presentations, press releases, and annual reports.
- Organize investor meetings, roadshows, and earnings calls to provide updates on financial performance and business strategy.
- Monitor market trends, investor sentiment, and competitors' activities to provide strategic insights to senior management.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Collaborate with the finance team to analyze financial performance and develop reports for investors.
- Ensure timely and accurate disclosure of financial and operational performance as per regulatory requirements.
- Develop financial models and presentations to support investor discussions and fundraising activities.
Regulatory Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure compliance with securities regulations, stock exchange requirements, and corporate governance policies.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to manage financial disclosures and investor-related regulatory filings.
Stakeholder Engagement & Market Intelligence:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with analysts, institutional investors, and key stakeholders.
- Provide insights to management on investor feedback, industry developments, and market expectations.
- Monitor the company's share performance and provide recommendations on investor engagement strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in investor relations, financial analysis, or corporate finance, preferably in the fintech or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, investment strategies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and investor communication tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior management, finance teams, and external stakeholders.
