Job Summary

The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with Bhima Gold Private Limited's organizational goals. The role requires managing talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training & development, statutory compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Manager will also play a crucial role in ensuring people practices meet the operational needs of the jewellery retail business across multiple branches.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA) & Deliverables

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for showroom, retail, and support roles.

- Build strong talent pipelines for future manpower requirements.

- Coordinate with Branch Managers for manpower planning based on sales cycles and seasonal requirements.

- Implement on boarding and induction programs to ensure cultural alignment.

KPI:

- Time-to-fill vacancies.

- Quality of hires and retention in the first year.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

Responsibilities:

- Act as a bridge between management and employees.

- Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

- Design employee engagement programs to improve morale and retention.

- Conduct exit interviews and analyse attrition trends.

KPI:

- Employee satisfaction/engagement score.

- Reduced attrition levels.

3. Training & Development

Responsibilities:

- Identify training needs across branches in product knowledge, sales, grooming, POSH, and compliance.

- Conduct leadership and skill development workshops.

- Partner with external training agencies where required.

- Track training effectiveness through assessments and feedback.

KPI:

- Training coverage percentage.

- Post-training performance improvements.

4. Performance Management

Responsibilities:

- Drive the annual performance appraisal process.

- Work with management to set clear KRAs/KPIs for employees.

- Support managers in identifying high-potential employees.

- Ensure timely performance reviews and feedback discussions.

KPI:

- Completion rate of performance reviews.

- Identification and promotion of high-potential talent.

5. HR Compliance & Policy Implementation

Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with statutory labour laws (PF, ESI, Shops & Establishments Act, etc.).

- Drive POSH policy awareness and compliance.

- Maintain accurate HR records and audits.

- Implement HR policies, leave management, and disciplinary frameworks.

KPI:

- Zero non-compliance issues in HR audits.

- Timely statutory reporting.

6. Compensation & Benefits Management

Responsibilities:

- Support payroll administration in coordination with Accounts.

- Benchmark salaries in the jewellery retail sector to ensure competitiveness.

- Manage employee benefits, incentives, and bonus distribution.

- Resolve payroll queries promptly.

KPI:

- Payroll accuracy and timeliness.

- Employee satisfaction with C&B.

7. HR Strategy & Organizational Development

Responsibilities:

- Align HR strategies with business goals.

- Support succession planning and career development.

- Partner with leadership to shape workplace culture.

- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

KPI:

- Improved employee productivity and retention.

- Successful succession planning outcomes.
